Last updated: 2026-06-20
What it is
CiteLab GEO Auditor is a zero-dependency command-line tool (pure Python standard library) that fetches a page and scores how ready it is to be retrieved and cited by AI answer engines. It checks JSON-LD schema and types, FAQ/HowTo blocks, answer-first structure, heading hierarchy, title and meta description, canonical and Open Graph tags, outbound citations, internal links, fact density, and llms.txt — then prints a prioritized list of fixes. Runs locally, uploads nothing, and is MIT-licensed on GitHub.
Who it is for
This is for people building in AI and technology who want clearer content, better structure, source-backed writing, and a practical path toward AI search visibility.
How it helps
The product gives you reusable structure: article sections, source review prompts, internal-linking steps, and delivery notes you can apply without making exaggerated traffic or income claims.
How payment and delivery work
Payments use Lemon Squeezy hosted checkout or overlay links. CiteLab does not collect card details directly. If Lemon checkout is unavailable, use the contact page for the manual PayPal backup process.
