CiteLab is a content site with a small first-party message service. This page explains what data may be collected by forms, analytics, comments, affiliate links, or advertising. This is plain-language information, not legal advice.
Information you provide
If you use the contact form or newsletter form, you may provide your name, email address, website URL, and message. Product and service requests may also include your selected offer, target audience, and project goal. Forms send this information directly to CiteLab over HTTPS. It is stored in a private Cloudflare database and shown only in the password-protected CiteLab admin inbox. The public website does not display it.
Security and retention
The message service validates input, limits repeated submissions, stores only a one-way hash for abuse prevention, and does not store card details. Messages are kept only as long as needed to answer the request, deliver a product or service, meet payment or legal obligations, and prevent abuse. Old messages may be archived or deleted.
Analytics
Analytics are disabled unless a privacy-friendly analytics provider is configured. When enabled, analytics may collect aggregate usage data such as page views, referrers, device type, and country-level location.
Comments and third-party embeds
Comments only load when a comment provider is configured. Third-party services may process data according to their own privacy policies.
Affiliate links and advertising
Some links may be affiliate links in the future. Advertising is disabled unless an advertising client ID is configured. Affiliate and sponsored content should be disclosed clearly on the relevant page.
Payments
Digital-product payments may be processed by Lemon Squeezy. Manual services are invoiced through PayPal after scope is confirmed. CiteLab does not collect or store card details directly on this website.
Contact
